This quick release works seamlessly with Xi5 and Xi3 MotorGuide freshwater bow-mount trolling motors. Made of black aluminum, this quick release mounting system makes removing your trolling motor a breeze. The universal hole patterns fit most traditional trolling motor mounts and all MotorGuide trolling motor bow mounts.

Operational Notes:

The MotorGuide Quick release plate has two primary parts, an outer and inner plate. The inner mounting plate is bolted to the deck of the boat and the outer mounting plate attaches to the inner plate by being placed over the smaller plate. Positive locking mechanism provides a rigid mounting platform for the trolling motor to eliminate noise and movement.

Installation Notes:

The large outer portion of the mounting plate bolts directly to the trolling motor. The inner plate bolts directly to the deck of the boat. Drilling is required, and it's ideal if you have access to the underside of the bow mounting surface.
