Freshwater Quick Release Plate

Compatible with all MotorGuide freshwater trolling motors with the Gator Flex 360, Gator 20.5. 20.8, 21, and 21R mounts. The quick release can be modified by adding holes to fit the longer MotorGuide 23.5 and 24 mounts. Additionally, the universal hole pattern fits most trolling motor mounts, not just MotorGuide motors.

The MotorGuide Quick release plate has two primary parts, an outer and inner plate. The inner mounting plate is bolted to the deck of the boat and the outer mounting plate attaches to the inner plate by being place over the smaller plate and being secured by a tab and a stainless steel pin.

The large outer portion of the mounting plate bolts directly to the trolling motor. The inner plate bolts directly to the deck of the boat. Drilling is required, and it's ideal if you have access to the underside of the bow mounting surface. If not, it's possible to use no access bolting nuts to secure the quick release bracket.
