Ultrex, Fortrex, Maxxum and Edge Quick Release MKA-23
Ideal for fishermen who want to easily remove their Ultrex, Edge, Fortrex, or Maxxum trolling motor from the deck of their boat. Made from high-yield composite, this bracket is ultra-strong and corrosion-resistant, and has no sharp edges. The quick release's low-profile design leaves the deck clear when the motor is removed, and a locking "U" handle with stainless steel pins can be secured with a padlock (not included) to prevent theft.

Compatible with all Minn Kota Ultrex, Fortrex, Maxxum, Edge or All Terrain trolling motors. Note: no longer recommended for the larger Ultrex motors with 112lb thrust). For Ultrex 112lb thrust motors with a 45" shaft, we now recommend the MKA-42 and the MKA - 52/62 for Ultrex motors with 62" and 60" shafts
Operational Notes:
This quick release allows for easy, tool-free removal of the trolling motor from the deck. To attach the two parts of the quick release plate, simply set the large outer plate on top of the smaller inner plate and press the stainless steel "U" shaped handle through the side of the mounting plates and the outer metal pin. Once in place, you can run a padlock through the hole in the outer metal pin to prevent theft.
Installation Notes:
The top portion of the bracket bolts directly to the trolling motor. The bottom plate bolts directly to the deck of the boat. Drilling is required, and it's ideal if you have access to the underside of the bow mounting surface. If not, it's possible to use no access bolting nuts to secure the quick release bracket.
